The reasons for noises in ball bearings include eccentricity of the rings, waviness of the track, surface roughness or dirt and other contaminants. myonic ensures that potential causes for noise generation are avoided even at the stage of component manufacture.

A high degree of cleanness is achieved by assembling the ball bearings in clean-room conditions and using high-quality cleaning processes. Noise generation in myonic ball bearings in its installed state is analysed using laser solid-borne noise measurement techniques and interpreted using frequency analysis.

The vibration of customized component groups can thus be optimised using such methods as vibration isolation, alteration of preload, balancing etc.
