Our Czech colleagues and friends celebrated the 30th anniversary of myonic s.r.o. on October 5, 2024. To mark this special occasion, a large anniversary celebration was held to honor the company’s history and provide space for shared memories and new perspectives for the future.

The company was founded on October 5, 1994 in Rožnov pod Radhoštěm under the name “MPC s.r.o.” by the Swiss “RMB Roulements Miniatures Bienne SA in Biel”. At the beginning, the company was managed by the then director and only 5 employees worked there. The Czech assembly branch worked closely with the then “MKL Miniaturkugellager Leutkirch GmbH” (now myonic GmbH). In 2001, the branch became part of the newly founded myonic Group as part of a management buy-out. Following the untimely death of Managing Director Pavel Onheiser in 2012, Marcela Wulfová and Pavel Cibulec took over the management of the company and continue to run it successfully to this day.

myonic s.r.o. currently employs 184 people and has its own administrative structure. In two-shift operation, high-precision ball bearings are assembled in the clean rooms and manufactured in production lines. The smallest size of the ball bearings is only 3 mm. An important part of the company is the production of stamped parts, which was relocated from Leutkirch to Rožnov in 2012. In August 2022, the Czech colleagues moved into new, modernized premises in the existing rented building to bring the stamping shop and warehouse together centrally. The expansion brought an additional 568 m² and increased the total area to 3,182 m², creating capacity for new projects and production opportunities.

The 30th anniversary celebrations began with an “Open Day”, where invited guests had the opportunity to take a look behind the scenes of the company. This was followed by a family day, which offered employees and their families many different activities and guaranteed fun. The highlight of the day was a festive gala event for employees, at which the successes of the past three decades were honored.
